Backup

I believe strongly in backup. Backup your machines locally with Time Machine, Car­bon Copy Cloner, Crash Plan, etc. For off site backup I really like Back­blaze. They offer a com­plete secure off site solu­tion. They also now include a “locate my PC” fea­ture for lost or stolen machines. File Shar­ing

Drop­box is, hands-down, the best way to sync files between mul­ti­ple com­put­ers and share files. Drop­box also keeps 30 days of ver­sion con­trol on your doc­u­ments — which has saved my behind a cou­ple of times. If you use myre­fer­ral link, we both get more space than the free 2GB.
