I’ve been wracking my brain for a couple of days now trying to find the new “Sync Open Tabs” feature announced on the Google Chrome Blog.
With today’s Stable releaseof Chrome, you can. When you’re signed in to Chrome, your open tabs are synced across all your devices, so you can quickly access them from the “Other devices” menu on the New Tab page.
I didn’t have the option. I downloaded chrome on two machines a couple of times. Reset my permissions. I even rebooted my Mac (eee gad!).
I finally took a peek at chrome://flags to see if there was a special “tab sync” area. Lo, and behold, a search for “tabs” brought the culprit to the light.

Enable syncing open tabs was disabled. Hrmm. Enable. Restart chrome.

And there is the option …

And there is the Other devices area on the new tab screen.
Enjoy your open tabbing.
