I was using Syngergy KM on my Mac and it worked fine until I updated to Lion. I think a video tut on installing the binary and making a the config file and using it would be helpful for us n00bs. :)

Rodolfo, I apologize but I had forgotten about making a video tutorial. I'm using the Synergy.app now. Do you still think a video tutorial would be helpful?

Jas,

The good news is that the Synergy.app works with official support. Download the 1.4.5 beta version and drag Synergy.app to your applications folder. Launching from there will be easier than creating conf files. Make sure your other machines are using the same version.

Get it here: http://synergy-foss.org/download/

If you are stuck using 1.3.8 then try opening TextEdit.app, creating a plain text file (cmd+shift+t), and saving it as synergy.conf

The official documentation (http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/configuration.html) is more thorough in content of the conf file. I hope to help you get up and running at least.

Good luck and hit back on the comments if you need more assistance.

How am I supposed to make the configurations to .conf file? I totally admit that I suck with terminal, yeah, and I don't understand a shit of what I'm doing here following this tutorial.
"type -- to create a synergy configuration file. " Ok, this I get. But where the file goes?
